News » 2012 Message from Karen
2012 is a very important year for sport in the UK and all over the world. I would like it to be a special year for Jump too. We have been entering many more competitions over the past few years and with increasing success. "Success is no accident it is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all love of what you are doing". It was once said:
I would like to wish everyone in Jump all the very best in their chosen sports and obviously with special emphasis on gymnastics / trampoline.
If you have decided that competitions are not for you then the club offers so much more. With the clubs love of performing a special British Olympic themed show (something we will never got to do again) is being planned and with its ever growing membership of recreational jumpers, the club is thriving and is full of ideas for the future. These include increased mentoring for many of our newly/and as yet unqualified young coaches, judges and members. Good luck everyone and enjoy 2012 remember:
"I'm not in competition with anybody but myself. My goal is to beat my last performance."
My life has not been judged by the breaths that I take but by the moments that take my breath away.
No job gets better than teaching others that it can be done, it is just that we all do it in different ways, some more successful than others.
"Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom."
